I just finished my new abstract digital painting "Consuming fire". Hebrews 12:9 say's "Our God is a consuming fire". Quite often my faith comes through in my art. I don't consider myself a "religious artist", but issues of a person's faith does affect their lives and that means our art work as well. I am an emotional painter. Much of my work comes out of what I am thinking about.
This painting came out of a conversation I had with a homeless man who has a very strong faith in God and he was sharing with me that what keeps him going is the all consuming love of God, and Hebrews 12:9 was his life verse, that which gives him hope.
